| The house on the right, which is now Marpain Guesthouse, was built in 1787, two years before the French revolution, as a farmhouse. |

Since then it has been renovated and it now holds four apartments, each with its own kitchenette, shower and toilet. |
 |
Guesthouse Marpain is situated on the river Ognon, a sidearm of the river Saône, which offers possibilities of fishing and swimming or the use of a rowing boat or canoe to explore the river and its environment. It is also possible to rent a bike and explore the environment and its beautiful, historical villages. |
